Matheikal, a very good series. These topics are very much in need of serious discussion. I fully agree with you that what we lack is wisdom. As you concluded, this is something that cannot be defined. To say that wisdom is the 'fragrance of the rose or the elegance of the dance'  is true, yet not true enough! I was suggesting that there must be a way to prove this elusive fact to the doubting, logical mind. Mythos cannot be replaced by something rational, but there must be a rational path helping the doubter to conclude that it is indeed real and necessary.

Thanks Raj.

Of course, I wasn't looking for the readers' agreement with my ideas.  Wasn't looking for applause either.  It's just that I began to feel that that the posts were not interesting enough - even to me.

And wisdom is knowing when to end an excellent series of blogs that poses qns, and that urges one to think and to reflect...

The important  thing, I'm sure you'll agree, is not so much that each reader coming here agrees with you but that they feel challenged and prodded to think. And that, I feel,  the blog  does.

(I'm of course completely ignorant about the poilitcial context in India.)

And again it's important  that you as the writer do not write to please but to prod and stimulate thinking and to remove complacency about such important issues..... And that you've done with sensitivity,  and with humor...

The series is an excellent one and each one is well-developed, one leading to the other and ending well...

Thanks Dawn. I'm wondering whether silence is the only way of conveying wisdom,

Yeah, Thomas Cherian, I thought of becoming a swami.  Not for the money.  I don't need it very much.  That will make me stupid.  Just for the pleasure of speaking.  But then I read about Swami Amrita Chinmaya who is now being suspected to be Santhosh Madhavan, a criminal.  When I saw so many Malayalam movies that villianised swamis I thought that was fiction.  Now the reality of Swami Amrita Chinmaya seems more terrible than fiction. So I think I shall not be a swami.

Thanks Indu.  You've dropped in after quite a while, I think.

Excellent post matheikal.

For me wisdom is like the fragrance of Jasmine , elegance of dance.

I loved your comparison to dew drop

The beauty of the nature too

Wow one more fragrance as said by Buddha. He has also kept quiet when asked about wisdom. His answer was almost the same of yours or any wise person's answer sir.
